The Director of Companion PAWS, Nancy Frank, has had a life filled with animals. 
  • Nancy was the Founding Director of two wildlife rehabilitation centers in southern Wisconsin
  • Operated two dog training schools in Milwaukee,
  • Established Dog Days of Wisconsin Summer Camp for Dogs and Their People
  • Was an on-air producer for public television for 20 years
  • Currently operates a llama farm, Opportunity Llamas, which is also home to six sheep, an alpaca named Stanley, a variety of birds, and her two dogs, Jesse and Zeke.

  • Programs and presentations including animals, both companion animals, and an occasional llama to audiences of all sizes including home visits
  • Consultations with residential facilities on how animals may be incorporated into their programming
  • Training and consultation for pet behavior issues
  • Assistance with transitional issues from private  home to assisted living environment
  • Information on healthful living for both people and their pets
Companion PAWS seeks to provide animal companionship for seniors, either assisting with finding a pet accustomed to a senior lifestyle, or providing visits on a schedule to housebound individuals.
